Chelsea captain Reece James recently shared a positive update on his injury recovery journey via Instagram. Since December, James has been sidelined due to injury, notably after being forced off during Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat against Everton. Subsequently, he underwent a hamstring operation, putting him out of action.
During James’ absence, Malo Gusto stepped in admirably, filling the right-back position. Gusto’s contributions have been notable, with 32 appearances and eight assists this season, showcasing his value to the team.
Despite Gusto’s commendable performance, Chelsea fans eagerly await James’ return to the pitch. Recognized as one of Stamford Bridge’s finest, James’ talent has even caught the attention of Real Madrid scouts.
